NFL Week 8 Preview

NFL Week 8 Preview

Here are the NFL tips for week 8. The NFL has treated us well and I hope for more of the same this week. Some good matches to watch and some handicaps that look strong on paper.

Winner have a number of lines and markets available which you can sign up for here

New England Patriots vs Chicago Bears

Chicago’s got a good team but they have some big defensive worries at the moment. They are missing Linebacker Lance Briggs and Corner Back Kyle Fuller this week, who are new additions to a substantial injury list.  Tom Brady had a slowish start to the season but he is now clicking well into gear and the Patriots will be expected to improve on their current 5-2 record by beating a weakened Bears team this weekend and covering the handicap in the process.

New Orlean Saints vs Green Bay Packers

This is a close match up, no doubt about it. The New Orleans Superdome is known to be an intimidating place and the Packers are far more formidable at Lambeau. The Packers offence is on fire though and it doesn’t seem that any defence will be able to contain them at the moment and just like the Broncos, they have been getting touchdowns for fun. Rodgers and Manning are in leagues of their own and I expect Rogders to step up to the plate tomorrow and deliver. The Saints defence is solid, but if the Packers win here they will be well on course for clinching the division. Packers had a poor start defensively to the season, but they have turned that around, it’s a tough question if the Saints’s strong offence and Quarterback Drew Brees will begin to unravel all of that, but my guts going with a Packers straight win.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have Andrew Luck who is continuing to impress and make the full leap from rookie NFL Quarterback to someone who is going to be around for a while. Everyone has the Colts to beat the Steelers and there is just no reason to think otherwise. They have won five on the bounce and shut out the Bengals last week, winning 27-0. Their defence is better than the ailing Steelers defence, so everything points to a Colts win with the line being covered.
